Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The PTA Christmas Fair was a huge success! Held at St Mark’s Church Hall, it was packed full with parents, children and the local community, who all came to support the fair.
Father Christmas made an appearance and met with lots of children to hear about their Christmas wishes and dreams, accompanied by the Year 6 elves....whilst others visited the extensive stalls!
A HUGE thank you to all the PTA, staff and volunteers.
Today the whole of Key stage one and two set off to the Vue cinema in Farnborough to watch ‘Angry Birds 2’. This was a specially chosen film with an anti-bullying theme coupled with a heart-warming story about putting differences aside, stand united and value each others talents and strengths.
The Into Film Festival offers the chance to provide children with the opportunity for meaningful engagement with film. We had a wonderful time and, as usual, we took over the cinema!
Today the whole school attended our church for a very special service which was led by Father Ian an supported by Year 6. The children read Bible readings and poems.
Each class lay a poppy wreath that they made by hand and wrote prayers and words of reflection that were displayed around the focal point of the soldier silhouette.
St Mark's Church and School received the following message of thanks from the Farnborough Food Bank following our donations from the Harvest Festival. A huge thank you to all our families for their generous donations.

We are all delighted with the new playground markings and the redesigned ‘quiet reading’ area. A huge thank you to our PTA for providing the funds for us through their fundraising and to all of our families for supporting these events. The children and staff are thrilled with the markings and have been putting them all to good use this week both at playtime and during their learning time.
Take a look at the pictures below to see our new fantastic playground markings and quiet reading area!
