Leavers Service 2017

 

On Sunday 23rd July, Year 6 led the church service at St Mark's Church with a theme based on 'friendship' They shared poems and their own memories of how each of them made excellent friends to each other - after which they handed each other a 'Key of Friendship'

 

 

The children shared stores and quotes from the Bible as to why friendship is important and sang a beautiful version of 'Your Love' with the other juniors for the congregation during communion.

 

The service ended with a beautiful prayer to give them strength and courage as they start secondary school.
