April '17 update
We were blessed to be visited by Philip Dean, one of the founders of the St George's foundation, on Wednesday 5th April. Philip told us of the progress and good work that the charity were doing in Sierra Leone to support the children who have been devestated by the Ebola crisis. He also explained how the charity supported children who were forced to sleep rough and often found themselves homeless.
Philip praised the important fund raising of St Mark's school, their longest supporting school, and the school shared their latest ideas of fundraising....selling sweets!
The children were very excited to embark on the new fundraising to help make a difference to the lives of other children. Look out for an update on how much we raised!
