  • Infant Production 2018

Thu 28 Jun 2018 Nicola Smith
The Infant Department put on  four wonderful performances of the musical "There's a Sunflower in my Supper. Every performance was different and very special in its own way! The children learnt their lines, sang amazingly, narrated the whole production themselves and most importantly had a lot of fun. We were incredibly proud of their confidence on stage and the comments from our audiences showed tremendous enjoyment. Well Done children we could have been in the West End!!
  • Year 6 Leavers Service at Guildford Cathedral

    Tue 26 Jun 2018

On Tuesday 26th June, Year 6 attended their Leavers Service at Guildford Cathedral. They enjoyed a reflective morning alongside hundreds other Year Six children from Guildford Diocese church schools. This was the first time in three years that the service took place inside the cathedral, due to the renovation and the children were stunned with the internal beauty! They took part in exceptional, reflective workshops which helped the children reflect on their time at primary school. The main service was led by Bishop Jo and The Director of Education, Alex Tear.

Our children were wonderful; they were praised by everyone who worked with them and the children carried our standard with pride. Well done Year 6!

  • Year 6 visit to Wintershall ‘Life of Christ’

    Fri 22 Jun 2018

On Friday 22nd June we were blessed with good weather as we set off to the Wintershall Estate to see 'The Life of Christ'. When we arrived we were guided into the beautiful grounds to prepare for Act I, and it was clear that we were all deeply moved by the spiritual atmosphere  we were about to be part of for the day.

The day enabled the children of Year 6 to see a biblical presentation of the life of Christ of outstanding quality. The cast of over 200 brought to life the characters and the story and we even became part of the 5000 that Jesus fed and were given bread after he performed this miracle.

The children had a wonderful day and were touched by the kindness of the cast and the man who played 'Jesus' at end of the performance, who spent time with our children.

Certainly a day that the children and staff and voluteers will cherish!
