One of the reasons parents choose our school is for the standards we have in work, behaviour and uniform. We ask for your support in respecting and following the uniform code described in the policy.

Any variation from the published uniform list should be discussed with the Headteacher.

Generic uniform items can be purchased at most large supermarkets.

The PTA hold regular second hand uniform sales. Items can also be requested, via the School Office, if there is no upcoming sale. 

Hairstyles and Accessories

• Long hair that reaches the shoulders, should be tied back whilst in school. This is especially important during PE lessons. 
• Hair colours should be natural.
• Short hair should be smart and tidy – no skin fades, tram lines or shaved designs.
• Hair accessories should be small and discreet, in school colours.
• Headscarves when worn for religious purposes should be plain black or navy, without embellishments.

Jewellery and Makeup

For health and safety reasons, children are not permitted to wear jewellery in school. The exceptions to this rule are small studs in pierced ears, a wrist watch and small objects of religious significance. Rings and wearable smart devices are not permitted. Wherever possible, children are required to remove any jewellery items during PE lessons or practical lessons such as DT to prevent them causing injury. Staff are not permitted to remove earrings for pupils.

Children are not permitted to wear make-up or nail varnish to school.

Labelling and Lost Property

Parents/Carers are advised to ensure that their child’s clothing and footwear is clearly labelled with their name.

Any unnamed lost property will be taken to the lost property box. All lost property will be retained for a period of one month and will be disposed of it is not collected within this time.
