Welcome to St Mark's CE Primary School

Still image for this video
Globally schools have faced some very challenging times during the pandemic, but we have always managed to find ways to welcome our reception children and their families over the last two years.

Please see below details of the processes for prospective parents who are considering our school for September 2022 and how the Headteacher and School Ambassadors can welcome you to our wonderful school.

In the meantime last year's Ambassadors have produced a short video to give you a ‘taste’ of what life is like at St Marks’s CE Primary School.

If your child will be 4 years old between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, they will be due to start school in September 2022.

We will be offering two options for prospective parents this term:

Option 1: You can either book a visit to the school with the opportunity of a brief tour and to meet the Headteacher and the school Ambassadors (COVID restrictions permitting). These will be held in small groups only. Please note that we will be asking you to wear a face mask on this occasion. Please telephone the school office on 01252 544155, for further information of measures in place and to book on.

Option 2: You may book onto a live remote meeting (via Teams) held on various dates and times in the Autumn Term with the Headteacher and School Ambassadors, for any parents who wanted to hear a bit more about our school with a short presentation and ask any questions.

In the meantime, I hope that you enjoy the video above, made especially for you by last year's school Ambassadors.

Mrs Annabel Stocchetti
