  • PTA Disco

    Thu 17 Oct 2019
Great fun was had by all tonight at the Autumn term PTA Disco. The children danced, played games and enjoyed a treat! One infant said "Wow, it's so cool to be at school in the dark, it must be really late!" A big thank you to the PTA for once again organising a lovely evening for the children.
  • Orca Workshop

    Mon 14 Oct 2019
The whole school had a fascinating day learning about whales and dolphins in the Orca Workshops. The interactive presentations allowed the children time to take in many interesting facts but also find out about the true size of these animals by measuring it out in the hall. A very important message was also shared about the harmful effects of plastic in our oceans. A big thank you to the Orca Association for spending the day with St Mark's - we thoroughly enjoyed it!
  • Harvest Festival 2019

    Thu 10 Oct 2019

Today the children of St Mark's School led a very special service at St Mark's Church to celebrate Harvest and reflect on how we can help others in need.

This year St Mark's Church and School joined our collections of tinned meat and fish for the Farnborough Food Bank and we would like to extend a huge thank you to all our families and friends for their kind donations.

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for this special service.

  • NSPCC Buddy’s Big Well-Being Workout!

    Fri 04 Oct 2019

    The NSPCC Big Well-Being Workout!

On Friday 4th October the whole school took on the challenge of 'Buddy’s Big Well-Being Workout'. The entire hall was transformed into exciting workout activities for the children to challenge themselves with as well as area for reflection and well-being. Team spirit and a true sense of community could be felt across the school all morning.

The event was in aid of the NSPCC. Participation in this sponsored event will help other children by raising vital funds to support the work of the NSPCC which includes the special helpline service for children – Childline.

If you would like to help this charity, please ensure that the form and sponsor money are returned to school by Wednesday 9th October.

Every day in the UK, children face overwhelming problems. For many of these children the NSPCC and Childline are their only hope. The money that we raise will make a real difference to children’s lives. Your support is very much appreciated.

Coming Soon...visit again soon to see the photographs of the Big Workout in action!

  • Infant trip to Marwell Zoo

    Thu 03 Oct 2019

All the infants had a WONDERFUL trip to Marwell Zoo! We learned so much about the animals and thoroughly enjoyed our day out.

As as always we were so proud of all our children who demonstrated impeccable behaviour and high levels of interest and engagement all day. Well done!

Thank you you to all the staff and volunteers for helping to make the day so special and of course to all the marvellous zoo keepers. We are sure that Year 1/2 will now be able to tell Zoe the zoo keeper what to do when she starts her new job!
