  • Dean of Guildord Visits St Mark's

    Mon 22 Feb 2016

The Very Revd Dianna Gwiliams, Dean of Guildford visited us on 22nd February to talk to the children about the 'Sponsor a Pipe' project and we all agreed that St Mark’s would like to play a part, however big or small, in this project.

The children decided that they would like to contribute their t-set money from a Friday to this cause. £5 restores a small pipe and £15 will restore a large pip. All schools and community members that contribute will be recorded in the Cathedral’s MAKE YOUR MARK MANUSCRIPT for future generations look over.

We'll let you know which pipes we have sponsored as soon as we know!

    Stations of the Cross

    by Year 3/4

Year 3/4 have created a stunning display of the ' Stations of the Cross' through their RE teaching.

The 14 Stations of the Cross represent events from Jesus’ passion and death. With each station they used their senses and imagination to reflect prayerfully upon Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection.
