Sports day will be held on the Queens Road Playing fields as planned. Children will be having lunch at school as normal and then we will walk down to the field for 1.00pm ready to start the races at 1.15pm. Children should be collected from the field at the end of Sports day at 3.20pm. Good Luck to all the teams!

Come rain or shine tomorrow we will be going ahead with Sports Day!

Children will bring home their PE Kit today and should come dressed in it tomorrow morning.  They should also wear trainers with white ankle/sports socks (not trainer socks please)

Please make sure that they bring their school jumper/cardigan, a waterproof coat, sunhat, water bottle and apply sunscreen at home before school.

We will now NOT be having a picnic beforehand at the field, due to the wet conditions.  The children will have their lunch as usual at 12pm and school dinners will be available.  We will then walk down to the field for 1.00pm ready to start the races at 1.15pm. Children should be collected from the field at the end of Sports day at 3.20pm.

If the field is still waterlogged or it is raining, we will hold a revised programme of races on the playground.  You are still welcome to come and support your child if this is the case, however as the safety of the children is paramount, and space is limited, you will need to view the races from outside the school railings on High Street. If the races are held at school then your child should be collected from school at the usual time.

We will review the situation in the morning, and let you know by 10.30am where it will be taking place.  You can also check for information here on the school website.
