BIG DAY OUT!
The whole school enjoyed a fantastic day out at Hatchlands Park! There was so much for the children to do and enjoy. They became pirates to complete a wonderful pirate themed trail, exploring the grounds to find treasure chests which contained letters to complete the word. They explored and challenged themselves in the play areas in the trees. The house was a highlight for many of the children where they got the opportunity to see Hatchlands Park's collection of musical instruments. Many of the children created natural art in their groups, such as crowns and wands adorned with leaves and flowers. Building dens in the Centenary Woods got the Juniors using their creativity and thinking skills! Thank you so much to the National Trust for having us at Hatchlands for the day.
A huge thank you also to the PTA for funding the coaches and making this a "BIG DAY OUT" to remember for St Mark's!
