St Mark’s enjoyed coming together as a whole school today to have a delicious Christmas dinner and a whole school playtime with plenty of games! Merry Christmas!
A big thank you to everyone who prepared and served our wonderful lunch.
The whole school visited the "All Wreaths Bright and Beautiful" Festival at St Mark's Church today to see the vast selection of stunning wreaths. We spotted our school wreaths made from recycled items! The children noticed lots of different features in each wreath and enjoyed guessing what they were made from. A big thank you to our parent volunteers who walked us there and back.
Today we welcomed Revd Stephen to lead our Advent Worship. We lit the second purple candle and thought carefully about making time during this busy season for moments of peace.
Second Week of Advent: Peace, a Purple Candle
Dear Jesus, you entered our world on Christmas as the Prince of Peace. This Advent, as we strive to become the best-version-of-ourselves, fill us with a deep and abiding peace. Help us share that peace with everyone we encounter, especially those who need it most.
Amen
