Easter Service 18
As our Easter service fell on Maundy Thursday, the children in Year 3/4 explained the importance of this day and the important events that took place on this day. They acted out the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles and told how on this day, Christians remember the Last Supper and that during the meal Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples.
The school then shared their bread of friendship and the congregation shared communion and Year 5/6 sang The Lord's prayer (African Sanctus) creating a very special atmosphere in our church.
The service ended with prayers and the whole school coming together to sing and give praise.
