Harvest 2019

Thank you God for Harvest

On Thursday 10th October, all the children of St Mark's School led a very special service at St Mark's Church to celebrate Harvest and reflect on how we can help others in need.

This year St Mark's Church and School joined our collections of tinned meat and fish for the Farnborough Food Bank and we would like to extend a huge thank you to all our families and friends for their kind donations.

Year R sang 'Big Red Combine Harvester' and Year 1/2 told the poem 'That grew in the world that God Made', which told the long journey of how food comes to our table.

Year 3/4 told a heartwarming tale about the value of sharing in the community, though their story 'Stone Soup' followed by Year 5/6 who became church mice, telling of the importance of sharing with others at this time of year.

Thank you to all our families for joining us, we hope you enjoyed the service.
