School Lunches

Children may bring a healthy packed lunch or have a school meal. All payments for lunches are made online. 

Our school dinners are provided by Education Catering | Hampshire County Council (hants.gov.uk). They are responsible for providing a menu according to nutritional guidelines and you can find all the details about menu's etc. below. Choices of fruit and vegetables are available each day and the children are encouraged to eat these. Children presently are able to choose to have a school lunch on chosen days.  ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a meal, free of charge, under the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) programme and registration is not required. Hampshire’s current meal price is £3.00 each day. Children presently are able to choose to have a school lunch on chosen days and these can be booked and paid for at the school office or online through Tucasi.

ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a meal, free of charge, under the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) programme and registration is not required.

Free school meals – Can I apply? 

 

You may be able to claim free school meals for your child if you are in receipt of:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • Please speak to Mrs Watson in the school office if any of these apply you.
