  • Singing Club performance!

    Fri 27 May 2016

This half term our school singing club met every Monday - which included 80% of the reception class! Miss Hawkes and Mrs Stocchetti were incredibly impressed with the children's skills to quickly grasp some technically difficult musical elements!

On Friday 27th May the choir sang 'Oh Happy Day' to the whole school; the room was filled with complete and utter awe and wonder at their talent and brought tears to our eyes.

    Well done!

  • Thank you to St Mark's School from Muscular Dystrophy UK

    Tue 10 May 2016

As you will remember, one of our parents, Mrs Fiona Baxter, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money in aid of Muscular Dystrophy. To show our support as a school community, the children donated the proceeds of their T-Set on 22nd January. In addition, staff and other parents in the community donated towards the fund to Mrs Baxter's 'justgiving' page.

Today we received a letter and certificate (which you can see below) from Muscular Dystrophy to show their appreciation.

    The letter reads:

    "Dear Mrs Stocchetti,

Fiona Baxer has informed us how generous your school was towards her fundraising to Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for 'Help4Harry'.

I wanted to say a personal thank you for your support.

    Many thanks,

    Anneke Liefting

    Regional Development Manager

    Muscular Dystrophy"
