This hands-on experience not only allows our pupils to utilise their creativity and technical skills but also provides a unique opportunity to engage with the rich cultural heritage of Shakespearean England. Join us as our creative learners dive into the enchanting world of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream! Over the next few weeks, our children will embark on an imaginative exploration of this timeless tale, tackling key skills along the way. 🌿📚

Based on our readings, children will unlock Elizabethan beliefs about Midsummer and sharpen their inference skills to predict what unfolds in the story.

Descriptive delights!

Using similes, learners will bring the fairies—Titania, Oberon, and Puck—to life with vivid descriptions.

With the help of imagery and music, children will draft descriptions of the fairy realm, enriching their writing with fronted adverbials and similes.

The children will enhance their descriptions of the woods, utilising a thesaurus to choose precise words and structure their sentences effectively.
