Children's Mental Health Week 2023

This week is Children's Mental Health Week and the theme for this year is Let's Connect. Our assemblies on Monday looked at the importance to our wellbeing of making connections with those around us and in the wider world. The Infants used the story of Room on the Broom and Lego to focus on the wonderful things that can happen when we make connections with others through building relationships. The Juniors looked at a poem by Matt Goodfellow called Together and thought about how by connecting with others we can do good, and even change the world. They looked at people who have changed the world by thinking about others and connecting with others to do good like Malala Yousafzai, Jazz Jennings, Anne Frank, Greta Thunberg and Louis Braille.

Through out the week the children will under many activities all based around making connections.
