Welcome to Class 3/4!
Our class teacher is Mr Chambers.
Welcome back to St Mark's, Year 3 & 4!
We have had a fantastic first week back at school and, excitingly, we have been very lucky to welcome a some new members of our school community into our class who have settled right in straight away. Remember what we always say about St Mark's sticks of rock? Well, "St Mark's" is certainly written through our new class members already!
We have been busy all week (so busy, in fact, that we forgot to take as many photographs as we meant to) settling back into the old routine - amazingly, it has been nearly six months since the majority of the class were last in school, although you wouldn't think it to see how quickly they got back into the swing of things. Amongst other things, we have: conducted an experiment demonstrating the importance of washing our hands as soon as we all returned to school on Monday morning; discussed and written our Class Charter; talked about what makes a strong community; role-played different scenarios focusing on friendship skills; imagined ourselves as superheroes whose superpowers are specifically designed to help us be a good friend and make people happy; as well as a bit of English, Maths and Art.
All-in-all a great first week back. Here's looking forward to the rest of term!
