The school day is organised as follows:
The children arrive between 8.40am and 8.50am and may go straight to their classrooms.
Please note: children arriving after 8.50am will be marked as 'L' - (late) in the register. If pupils arrive after 9.00am they will be marked as 'U' (late after registers close) in the register. This is classed as unauthorised absence.

N.B. The Infant department take a 15 minute break in the afternoon.
Parents are reminded that the children are their responsibility until the start of the school day and from dismissal in the afternoon. Both Infants and Juniors have a morning break from 10.40 – 10.55 am. The children may bring a healthy snack such as fruit or cheese to eat at this break. Children should not bring sweets into school (except for special occasions such as birthdays). There is a 15 minute break in the afternoon for Infants. During this break they have a piece of fruit or vegetable provided by a NHS initiative.
During the lunch break the children are looked after by lunchtime supervisors in the hall and in the playground.
Children may bring a healthy packed lunch or have a school meal. Dinner money may be paid weekly, monthly, half-termly or termly in advance. Weekly money should be paid on Monday mornings in a named envelope please.
Our school dinners are provided by HC3S at a cost of £2.15 per day. They are responsible for providing a menu according to nutritional guidelines. Choices of fruit and vegetables are available each day and the children are encouraged to eat these. Children presently are able to choose to have a school lunch on chosen days and these can be booked and paid for at the school office or online through Tucasi.

MID-MORNING SNACKS – children are encouraged to bring in a snack for the morning break. This snack must be of a healthy nature – fruit, vegetables, dried fruit or cheese. Please do not send breadsticks and cheese dips, cereal bars, yoghurt tubes or similar.
WATER IN SCHOOL – We have an initiative allowing the children constant access to drinking water throughout the day.
