The St Mark's Bake Off
On Wednesday 7th November St Mark's held their second Bake off for the second time!
This was part of the important fundraising that we do for the St Georges foundation to enable them to continue the good work they do for the children in their care.
The cakes went on display in the school hall and were judged (based on their appearance) by the school staff. There was one 'Star Baker' from the juniors and one from the infants, and each won a star baker wooden spoon! The cakes were well received and washed down with a cup of lemonade! The remainder went on sale to parents and families after school in the playground and during parents evening.
We raised over £200 which is a great achievement and will be gratefully received by the St George's foundation.....Thank you!
